April 4 Election Day
Election Day is upon us!
Polls are open from 6AM to 7PM on Tuesday.
ENDORSEMENTS
The 6th Ward Democrats have voted to endorse:
- PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN - Megan Ellyia Green
- ALDERMAN WARD 6 - Daniela Velázquez
- PROPOSITION C - CHARTER AMENDMENT - Yes
- PROPOSITION - ADDITIONAL SALES TAX ON RETAIL SALE OF ADULT USE MARIJUANA - Yes
- MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION (Choose 2) - Sadie Weiss and Tracy E. Hykes
- SAINT LOUIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRUSTEE IN SUBDISTRICT 2 - Pam Ross
WHERE TO VOTE
You can vote at your assigned polling place or at one of 12 city-wide polling places.
6th Ward assigned polling places:
- Mann Elementary - 4047 Juniata
- St. Pius V Church - 3310 S Grand
- Tower Grove Christian Academy - 4257 Magnolia Ave
- Missouri School for the Blind - 3867 Magnolia Ave
If you requested an absentee ballot and have not cast it yet, you can bring it with you to the polling place and you can vote in-person there.
PHOTO ID REQUIRED
A new Missouri law requires specific forms of photo ID to vote.
Permissible forms of ID:
- Nonexpired Missouri driver’s license or non-driver’s license
- Nonexpired U.S. passport
- Nonexpired U.S military ID, including veteran’s card
- Another photo ID issued by Missouri or the federal government that’s not expired or has expired after Nov. 2, 2020
No longer permissible forms of ID:
- Student IDs, out-of-state driver’s licenses, pay stubs, utility bills, and postcards from the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners
If you do not have an acceptable ID, you can vote a provisional ballot on Election Day and it will be counted if the signature on your provisional ballot matches the signature on file with the Board of Election Commissioners.
